I paint moments and feelings - a painting is never planned, yet rather experienced and expressed in a moment of making. My work is about the abstract and figurative ongoing and never stopping mutation and thus a reflection of myself as I experience it. Perhaps these two runners are willing to run away from conformity and fixation, against language based assertiveness, they are certainly running into the silence - where all truths are. By silence, I do not mean death or when they seize to exist, by silence I mean that it could be experienced here and now and thus the truth will be revealed. I am talking about awareness and meditative silence.
And yet they are happy - in this chaotic place, 89-65cm, 2019
A flower for me is a flower for you, oil on canvas, 61x61cm, 2019
Just saying, oil on canvas, 100x60, 2019
I reach out and interact with my paintings by observing unintentional or randomly choosing during this process of painting, - I liberate myself from any controlled idea, this leads to various determents and points of meaning if necessary.
These two lovers happen accidentally, one can say there is a rebellion against certainty!
In this, so called, poetic dance with my creating and allowing accidents to happen, - interaction is going both ways, it could be called as an engagement synergy within organic matter :)
There is always a tension between figurative and abstract, neither one can be excluded - a defined storyline in non-defined space, movement, stillness - it all coexists, equally contributing and constantly mutating around the human soul.
